It's then picked up immediately by tech PRs like you.

Journalists use the straight-forward interface on the SourceWire website to make requests for technical information, tech press releases or other assistance with stories they are working on. They select which technology related subject categories are relevant and the journalist requests are sent by email to subscribing tech PR people.

Each journalist enquiry you receive is relevant to your chosen sectors. With every lead on Tech Response Source you can get to know a journalist a little better – and it's a great way to keep track of what's happening in the business, finance & technology industries.

A typical Tech Response Source or Response Source enquiry would give the name of the journalist, the publication (sometimes with a short description), the request itself - normally a request for information or comment relating to a specific article, a deadline for responses and the journalist's email address, phone number or fax number.

Please note: There are two versions of the service, Tech Response Source and Response Source. Tech Response Source is aimed at business and technology journalists and PRs. Receipt of these enquiries comes as part of the FeaturesExec Finance & Technology package. Response Source covers all subjects, broken into a number of categories, and is available to PRs per category.
